Super spacious room with a lekker comfy bed. Breakfast was solid, especially those tasty pastries! The staff were really friendly, made me feel proper welcome. Location's just a quick walk to the river, so that was a bonus, ja!

Only thing was the air con had a bit of a funky smell when I switched it on.

The hot water dispenser at breakfast was lukewarm at best, making the morning routine less pleasant. the juice dispenser was empty and took too long to be restocked, which left many guests dissatisfied. Breakfast options felt quite limited, lacking choices like fried eggs or omelets, which would have enhanced the experience significantly. It's baffling that a hotel of this standard overlooks such basic needs.

The breakfast offered a variety of options, though it felt a bit limited. nothing too exciting on the menu. The hotel lobby featured infused water and tea, a lovely touch that made it feel inviting. A notable downside occurred during breakfast when staff engaged in personal discussions, which detracted from the peaceful dining experience. Despite this, the nearby restaurants and markets in the area added to the convenience of the location, making it easy to explore. Parking was easily accessible, but there was an extra charge for it, so just be prepared.

i had an awesome family holiday at holiday inn express, way better than my previous stay. the breakfast was outstanding, especially the warm chipas, and the staff were incredibly nice. it exceeded my expectations with its cleanliness and great location!

wifi connection was poor in the room.
